Our relationship with the continent has come to a complete standstill. We know that many people who campaigned for the cause of Somaliland have left and are no longer remembered. All contacts in Somaliland with regional friends have been severed. While the KULMIYE government has always focused on the complex internal political affairs of the country, it has completely eliminated the criteria for the independence of Somaliland in long-term journey.
This's not new to us because the Udub government led by President Dahir Rayale Kahin and his foreign minister Abdilahi Mohamed Duale. We know where they conveyed the issue of recognition and the professional procedures they used . We're also mindful of the achievements of these governments during their rule in terms of diplomatic relations with the Somaliland and African regions.
based on this brief experience, we can explain that the initial diplomatic relationship between the Malawian government and Somaliland isn't in the interest of them to contribute much to the independence of Somaliland and the recognition goals of our society. So we can say that the economy that Somaliland is seeking is not a close one and it's in a deep hole and many crooks are killing each other. |
